Tech for Good

What is "Tech for Good"?

“Tech for Good” refers to the use of technology to address social, environmental, and humanitarian challenges. At its core, it means leveraging innovation to create a positive global impact and solve some of the most urgent issues facing humanity.

Our Mission: Making the World a Safer Place

Vital4 is a leader in global data solutions for corporate risk and compliance. Our technology helps organizations prevent and detect financial crimes, including money laundering, terrorism, fraud, bribery, and corruption. But our mission goes deeper — we believe in using our tools and expertise to do good. We’re especially passionate about helping fight human trafficking and other crimes against humanity.

Our Passion: Helping Fight Human Trafficking

Today, an estimated 50 million people are trapped in modern slavery — a record high. Human traffickers generate over $236 billion annually, making trafficking the second-largest criminal enterprise in the world.

At Vital4, we believe it’s our responsibility to use our technology and platform to support the fight against these atrocities.

This specialized unit comprises dedicated prosecutors, investigators, analysts, a victim advocate, and a paralegal, collaborating with local, state, and federal law enforcement to arrest and prosecute offenders and rescue victims. Since its inception, the unit has secured over 60 convictions, led or assisted in more than 330 case investigations, and rescued and assisted over 200 children.
